I knew nothing about Robeez when my daughters were born. We received them as a gift, and they are now one of the best gifts we received! They are genuine leather and while the price is high for a pair of baby shoes (retails for about $40), they are well worth it. They are easy to get on and off because of the elastic backing. They are soft and pliable and come in a great variety of adorable styles and colors for baby boys and baby girls. I know that the Gap now sells them in their stores, but you can also find them on the

These shoes are highly recommended by pediatricians because of their very soft soles. Ideally, pediatricians would love babies to go barefoot all the time until they are walking, but we know that's not always practical or as fun! These shoes are just like being barefoot.
